Gas gas heater (GGH in short) is a heat exchanger used in power plant to heat treated flue gas (40-50℃) with raw flue gas (130-150℃) in FGD system. GGH plays dual function: flue gas cooling and reheating. Raw flue gas is cooled down by GGH. If hot flue gas enters FGD tower, it would cause damage to anti-corrosion coating inside FGD tower. And a lower temperature is good for the absorption of SO2. Since it works in harsh environment long time, high corrosion resistance of heat element is requested. Manufacturers usually adopt decarburized steel and wet static electricity method for double enameling to solve this problem.

Coal Mills are used to pulverize and dry to coal before it is blown into the power plant furnace. In order to control the energy production of the plant, the coal flow into the furnace is a very important factor. Unfortunately, it is not possible to measure the coal flow from the coal mill to the furnace. The coal flow out of the mill is often estimated based on the incoming coal flow. In case of a fault in the coal mill the plant operator would need to take accommodating actions as fast as possible. Fault detection in the coal mill is consequently important.

Coal bottom ash and boiler slag are the coarse, granular, incombustible by-products that are collected from the bottom of furnaces that burn coal for the generation of steam, the production of electric power, or both. In order to save energy and dispose of the slag & ash environmentally, power plants usually use a variety of products: submerged scraper conveyor, chain and flight conveyor, slag cooler, hydraulic shut-off gate, bucket elevator, Chain bucket conveyor and so on.
